Southwark Law Centre’s Planning Voice project has supported community members through development since 2017.
We provide legal advice and support for individuals and campaigns negatively affected by redevelopment; helping campaigns in their fight for development that meets needs of local communities, and not just the needs of shareholders.
We provide group training and workshops on planning issues and one to one support for local residents and small businesses impacted by major development
We contribute to local and national initiatives such as climate emergency strategies
We work with local authorities and community members to ensure that planning decisions are made fairly and the needs of the community are considered.
On 5 June 2025, we were pleased to launch the evaluation of our Planning Voice project, which you can download here.
