Southwark Law Centre is a community-based legal charity dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to justice, regardless of their income or circumstances.
For decades, we have worked alongside local people to provide high-quality, independent legal advice and representation on the issues that matter most to their everyday lives. We believe the law should be a tool for fairness, protection, and empowerment — not a barrier that only a few can overcome.
Our Purpose
We exist to support individuals and families in Southwark, Lewisham and surrounding communities who face legal problems that threaten their homes, livelihoods, safety, or wellbeing. Our work focuses on early intervention, specialist legal support, and long-term solutions that address both immediate needs and the wider causes of injustice.
